Gathering from 2pm for a prompt start at 2:30, this afternoon will be a celebration of Liz’s life and all that she achieved. We will have some time of Quaker silence and spontaneous contributions, and we know that there will be some prepared items including poems Liz chose. Plus activity from groups that meant a lot to Liz and songs from the choir she loved. We will lead into tea and conversation at around 4.15pm and aim to be finished by 5.30pm.
Donations in memory of Liz would be gratefully received and well used by the Fawcett Society. This charity campaigns for gender equality and women’s rights at work, at home and in public life.
